True local place that my husband would have loved. This is the front where there was a "tourist" menu with probably quadruple the price. We got our food in the back where a local guy told us to go. We did order chips, salsa, and guacamole in the front which is where we learned the difference in the prices.

Girls Get-a-way

I was blessed by sweet friends Mary and Kim to be able to go on the Girls Get-a-way Cruise with Premier Christian Cruises. It was just what I needed to get away for a few days and relax. Plus, I got to spend time with precious friends who I don't see that often.

The kids pool area - I knew two kids at home who would love this!! It was my first cruise so I was blown away with all the cool food sculptures and all the food in general!! Leaving Fort Lauderdale, I was sad I didn't get to see any of my Fort Lauderdale friends while in town :( But we flew in Wednesday night and left Thursday morning. Then returned Monday morning with Monday afternoon flights.

New Year's Eve

For the first time in oh, I don't know - EVER - we went out on New Year's Eve. A lot of Burt's Currahee buds left after the New Year so we had a couples' night out.

Nashville Predators

John and Burt went to see the Nashville Predators play over Christmas break and I just found a bunch of pictures on Burt's camera. This little boy is a hockey fan now.
