Rylan and Jace received their medals for graduating with highest honors. They graduated with 3.98 GPAs and were number 19 and 20 in their class (behind 17 valedictorians.) Jace receiving his scholarship to TWC.

End of MOPS year

I just stole this picture from my friend Kat's facebook but wanted to add the group photo we took at the last meeting. What a group of beautiful ladies!!

I have been doing MOPS since a month after John was born. I was involved with my group in Columbus for 3 years and for 2 years here. For the past two years I have served as a small group leader and am so blessed twice a month to lead and share with these ladies. Some of my closest friends have come from my small groups over the years and I am so challenged and equipped to be a better mother because of them.

Here is some of my group from this year (we are missing three) - Kelly, Susan, Natalie (who happened to be in my MOPS group in Columbus, small world huh? I guess I should say its a small Army), our MOPS mentor Mrs. Barb, and Jess. My friend Kat who is getting ready to move. She has been the head of the small groups for the past two years.

I am not normally the one who is all lovey-dovey with Abe but I tend to let him in more when Burt isn't home so he can get extra attention. I love how I put out his pillow, that I did not pick out, and he lays beside it instead of on it.

Today my baby brothers graduate from high school. I can't believe it! They are both handsome, smart, and loving young men. They love their niece and nephew and wow, do these kiddos love them. Congratulations Paul Rylan and Jace Desmond! I couldn't be prouder of having you two as my brothers!

If there was ever any doubt

that we truly have the best dog ever, here is the proof. Oh, what he puts up with!!

Both of the kids have had a taste that other dogs are not like Abe. Clara went to give my grandparents dog a hug and he pulled away from her and she fell. John tried to ride the dog like he rides Abe and he bolted leaving John on the ground. He seriously is the best dog for these kids!
