Monkey's Treehouse

We headed to Nashville over Spring Break to play atMonkey's Treehouse. The kids had so much fun playing.

Animal Fun!

John loves going into his sister's room and hanging out with her in her bed. This particular morning he decided they needed an animal party and got every stuffed animal and baby doll he could find to put in bed with them.

Palm Sunday

We weren't sure if John would go for it but he was hamming it up as he waved his palm branch in the air.

Then he decided to show off by making all these funny faces during children's time so I grabbed the camera back out to take a few more shots.

Ruck March

Burt was supposed to go on a ruck march last week so he was busy preparing his ruck the night before. Well, Burt's march was cancelled due to lightning but John headed out later in the morning when it cleared up. (Don't ever tell me kids don't absorb whatever they hear or see!)

Sweet Sight

What is sweeter than a big brother "reading" to his little sister? This is the sight I found after bathtime while getting ready for bed the other night, so of course I had to run and get the camera.

Miesta Moose and John

We had the honor of hosting Miesta Moose for a few weeks so I could take him to the Beth Moore book signing. The moose travels to visit withdifferent Siestas (followers of Beth Moore's blog) and go to different events. He is originally from Wyoming so we had to take him out for some photos while he was here.

Clara is currently OBSESSED with Barney or as she calls him "Baaanie." Just when John gets over Barney, Clara loves him and this one dvd in particular called "Let's Make Music." During her nap the other day John thought it would be a good idea to hide it and I had to agree with him. One can only take so much of the big purple dinosaur. Here she is during one of her viewing sessions.

Haman's Ears

I have been doing Beth Moore's Esther Bible Study the past few months and a couple of weeks ago I made Haman's Ears cookies to celebrate Purim, the Jewish holiday celebrating God saving the Jewish people through Esther's courageous actions. Burt loved these things! He ate the 15 or so I had left over for breakfast over the next week.
