Playtime

Clara got this puzzle from Aunt Laura and Uncle Chris for Christmas. She has taken to playing with it with her brother. This day she was actually getting some playtime on her own. Her favorite thing is to play with the individual pieces as she can't actually put it together. Can't see me Mommy!

Weekend in Johnson City

Last weekend we went to Johnson City to see our niece Lily in The Sound of Music. The cousins loved playing together. John wanted to do everything Baylor did and Clara would just stare at Lily. She was so content with Lily playing with her like a babydoll. We had a great, but short, visit.

As I mentioned the reason for our visit was to see Lily in The Sound of Music. She played the role of Marta and she was so good.

Easter Craftiness

Let me first say that I am not crafty, I long to be though. I have all these ideas in my head but then when I try to do them they DO NOT work out. Well, recently I have been actually making some nice things. I have made Clara a canvas with her initials and a hairbow holder. A few years ago I saw a Easter egg wreath and wanted to make one. Finally, yesterday John and I made an Easter egg wreath. It is actually cute!! I love to decorate for every holiday and this is the cutest little welcome to Easter!

Clara has preferred standing for a while. She has been pulling up and using things to push up as well. Well, she has finally gotten to a point where she will stand for 10-15 seconds by herself. She is pretty happy with herself.

We Love Our Aunt Lola!

My sister Danielle came to visit for part of her spring break. We took a girls weekend to Nashville on Saturday and Sunday. The rest of the time she got to spend some fun time playing with her sweet nephew and niece.

John loved waking up his Aunt Lola in the mornings. I tried to get a morning picture and Danielle covered her face so John covered his as well.

Ten Months Old

Sunday the little princess was 10 months old! Time is flying by too fast. She is loving crawling, has started standing up for as much as 10 seconds at a time, and is eating table food. (She refused baby food.) She doesn't have any teeth. She seems to love her independence of crawling and has made her in a much better mood since she can move around. She is not consistent on naps or sleeping at night, hopefully that will come. She loves her brother and continues to laugh at him. She enjoys peek-a-boo and is clapping.

Clara's First Jeep Ride

John took Clara for her first Jeep ride on Tuesday. It was so cute! John is a good driver and was very careful with his sister. (Disclaimer, John picked out his and his sister's clothes for the day.)

Clara also enjoyed some time with Mom's Blackberry! She looks pretty happy with herself, huh?
