Daddy's Cast

Today Burt got his cast off, which we are very happy about. Now he has 10 days left until he can have partial weight on his ankle. Last night he let the kids draw on his cast and of course I had to make a contribution. We know how much Burt loves the Vols! ha!! Clara is not sure this ok.

But hey, I like in on all the action.

John enjoyed the drawing. Today he went with Burt to get the cast off. He has been telling everyone of the little chain saw and making sound effects of the sound it made.

Yummy Dinner!

Clara was refusing dinner the other night, which is unlike her! The girl likes to eat! She has what appears to be two more teeth coming in. She has been drooling like a champ and had a runny nose as well. So we decided she needed something cold on those gums. She enjoyed a chocolate fudge bar for dinner.

I Can See the World

Last Saturday we finally turned Clara around in her carseat. She hadn't met the weight requirement at a year. So here she is in her new carseat! Her brother was excited, can you tell?

Thirteen Months

So I am late posting these but I have been having a few downloading issues. Oh well! These were too cute not to post. Clara was thirteen months last Monday. I took her outside and took some pictures of her in her tutu she got from the Armstrong crew for her birthday! You were right B, it was perfect picture material!

And because she has a big brother, this is what she was in for bedtime last Monday night!

Creative Discovery Musuem

This past Saturday we met Papaw, Nana, and Uncle Larkin at the Creative Discovery Musuem in Chattanooga. It is the neatest place. The kids had a blast playing and being with their family. Thanks for meeting us guys! We can't wait to go back.

Brother's Away So Clara's Going to Play

We took John to meet Grandad yesterday so he could spend the week in Tally. When we got home last night and we got Clara ready for bed, I said, "Time for Night-Night Clara." So she went and got in her brother's bed. She loves to play in their normally so I guess she thought since brother wasn't home she could sleep in his bed. Night-Night Mommy!

Starbucks Park Again

Once again a trip to Starbucks Splash Park - this time Daddy went with us since he was off of work. This picture cracks me up, John looks like he is ready to run a race.
