Muffin Morning

Clara loves helping me in the kitchen. She picked chocolate chip muffins to make on this particular morning (sorry daddy she is her mommy's girl.) Her look! I think because I told her to quit eating the chocolate chips out of the mix.

There is my sweet girl again.

Pajama Day for Clara

Clara was very excited to have pajama day at school. There was lots of consideration for her perfect pajamas. She finally decided on Jessie.

This is her teddy bear that came on her Valentine's Day flowers. She has it wrapped up in her blankie like a baby.

Big Bed

Although Mommy is not ready to move Clara from the crib, we are taking some steps towards being a big girl. Clara took a nap in her big girl bed the other day and did great.

Warm Day

We have had some pretty days lately and John decided we needed to put our pool together. He even put on his swim trunks trying to convince me. Seeing that it is still February that hasn't happened yet.

Secret Agents

John decided that him and his sister needed to be secret agents. Not sure why but John thought they needed their vests on but Clara came up with the rest on her secret agent outfit on her own. You don't want to mess with these tough secret agents.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I made chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's Day and the kdis loved them. John decided that I needed to make them everyday.

Valentine's Day

My sweeties loved opening all of their valentine's loot. Thanks for everyone who sent cards, candy, gifts to them! And to mommy as well. We had a great day thanks to lots of loving, caring friends.

Girls' Night Out

I spent my GNO at a local art studio the other night. We painted a canvas and had a great time with my girlfriends. Here is my finished "masterpiece." I did get home and John told me I did a great drawing so I guessing high marks from my 5-year-old makes me pretty good. Gropu of my girlfriends!! Isn't awesome how they are all different and unique!!

My good friend Susan, who is also one of my Currahee sisters. Our hubbies are together in A'stan so we wanted to get a picture for the two of them.

Flowers

Our sweet friend/babysitter came by the other day with flowers and a Starbucks for me the other day. (Seriously, who else has a babysitter who does this? That's why she is a precious friend!!) She then said her and her mom were taking the kids early, they were going to watch them at 6 for me but instead got them at 3, so I could have a break. Love them!! Mighty John

The movie of the moment at our house is Mighty Joe Young. Everytime we are at Mimmie and Popsy's we "check out" VHS movies to bring back to watch. Mimmie has about every Disney movie ever made so the kids enjoy watching old ones that haven't been released in a while and we don't have. Well, Mighty Joe Young has been a hit and so I have had a lot of chest-beating gorillas lately.

Snowcream

First taste of snowcream and Clara was sold on the stuff. She was two spooning it!! Haha!
