Having Fun at Papaw and Nana La's House

Sunday afternoon we had Thanksgiving dinner at Papaw, Nana La, and Uncle Larkin's house. It was lots of fun. I also got to celebrate my birthday again.

My birthday present came in a big box. Taylor, Brooklyn, Larkin, and Brandon were very interested in my present too. I got a cool weedeater and blower set.
Uncle Larkin also picked me out a cool Batman card that plays music.
I also got a new Go Vols shirt!
Here is my new blower and weedeater.

Uncle Larkin and I spent some time painting.
This was my first experience at painting and I really liked it. Uncle Larkin teaches me cool new things.

Our Visit to the North Pole

Saturday night we took a train ride with Aunt Laura, "Aunt" Brandi, Kennedy, P, and their cousin Lilly. This magical event included a visit from Mary Winter and her reading the Polar Express, cookies, chocolate drink, and then a ride through the magic tunnel to visit the North Pole. When we arrived at the North Pole, Santa and Mrs. Claus boarded our train and we got to visit with them. It was such a great night.

Playtime in Tennessee

I have so much fun playing with my uncles while in Tennessee. My new thing was building a house with the pillows. Then the next morning I woke up and wanted them to make a castle. It has been really fun. Hiding in the castle. Isn't this cool?
I also like to wrestle with them. I've got him!

Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving Day we spent the day with Mimmie's side of the family, the Browns. We had a fun day although I was a little overwhelmed with so many people.

Here are the grandaughters with Grandpa. Here are the grandsons with Grandpa.

I got to open up some belated birthday presents on Thanksgiving. Now I am ready to open up Christmas presents. Uncle Scott is putting together the racetrack that I got from Molly.
Molly and I playing with the racetrack before it had batteries. It was much quieter then.

Trying to take a picture with cousin Molly's camera. Here I am with Uncle Rylan.

THE HAIRCUT

Yes, Mommy finally did it. She took me to get my haircut for the first time. As traumatizing she thought it would be for her, it was even more so for me. I cried almost the entire time.
The before shot This is so not fun Mommy!
You would think I would enjoy sitting in the airplane and eating goldfish, but no.
Please get me out of here.
Finally settling down The after shot.

John and Abe

John is always saying he needs to play with Abe. So right after breakfast we threw him on some clothes, did not brush his hair, and he went and played with Abe. They are good friends. I keep trying to get a picture of them running and chasing each other but it never works out. Don't you love the sweatsuit and rain boots. What do you do?

John, the Big Brother

John would like to announce he is going to be a big brother. We are all very excited. Mommy is 12 weeks and 5 days today. This ultrasound picture is from one Daddy did last Sunday night. Mommy had another one today but the machine was out of paper, figures! The baby is due May 14, 2008 and we hope he or she is not as stubborn as the big brother waiting 8 days past his due date to make his appearance. We will keep you updated!

Steeplechase

Today we went to Steeplechase. It was a fun day and John enjoyed seeing the "horsies." Here is a shot from the first place we stood. We ventured to different spots to get different views of them running or jumping. John and Daddy waiting for a race to start.
Here was a fast run.

John enjoyed some chocolate ice cream (It looks like we have outgrown our milk allergy!! Yeah!!) Cheese Mommy!A good view of the horses close to the finish line!
This was the highlight of Mommy's day. John took his first pony ride! He loved it! We actually ended up taking two pony rides.
