What to Do on a Rainy Day

Visit with the Jones Crew

Sunday before last we met up with Burt's cousin Edward and his family on their way out to Yuma. We had a picnic in the park and let the kids play a little bit. It was a rather hot day so it wasn't the best of conditions but it was still nice to visit.

Two Months - July 15

Ok, we are late on the post but with all the pictures I have been trying to go chronologically. Clara was 2 months old on July 15 and is getting so big. Her well baby check-up went well, although I don't like how they do them here. She weighed 11 lbs. 7 oz. and was 23 inches long. She is 50-75th percentile for weight and 75th for height.

Mommy's Dress

Mimmie has kept so much stuff of Mommy's from when she was a little girl. This dress is a dress of Mommy's. It was so sweet of Mommy to put it on me to wear.

Horseback Riding

By far the most fun we have had since arriving at Fort Campbell is taking John horseback riding. If you are under 10 you are supposed to be given a pony to ride, but for some reason John got assigned a horse. He did great though and loved it. Now, thanks to his vivid imagination, he says he has a horse that he keeps in his barn aka the garage.

Clara's First Bath

Yes, after about 8 weeks finally got a bath in a bathtub. With all the moving and such, we just had a thing we put in the sink to give her a bath but finally . . .

She now loves bathtime.
She didn't like getting out. And since sister takes a bath in the little bathtub, can you guess who else wanted to try it out?
