Spending time with the family

Uncle Rylan is helping me figure out this Christmas tree lamp.

John asked Uncle Rylan, what's this? to everything on the lamp.

Taking time out to pose for a picture. I love to play video games with my uncles. Uncle Rylan, I don't know about that move.

Wow! I guess it was a good move. Pushing the buttons.
Now I took some time to play with Uncle Jace too.

I need a juice break.Snuggling up with Popsy.

Christmas at the Browns

Christmas Day Daddy had to go into work so Mommy and John jumped in the car and headed to Tennessee to surprise our family. We got there just as everyone was sitting down to eat, talk about perfect timing. We were so glad we got to spend the afternoon with the Brown side of the family.

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Christmas Morning we had our Happy Birthday Jesus cake. None of us were really in the mood for cake for breakfast, which has to be a first for mom, but we did enjoy singing and celebrating our Savior's birth. As John says, Happy Birthday Bible Jesus!

Christmas Day

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We sure had a great time. John was such a joy to watch opening presents, getting so excited, then wanting to get it out of the package. He was sick on Christmas Day and for the past week but don't let his expressions fool you. He thought it was great and is still wanting to open presents. We got great gifts from friends and family. We thank you all. I, (Lori), got a new camera and am still trying to figure everything out from taking the pictures, to downloading, etc. So bare with me, it might take a while.

Santa left us lots of goodies on Christmas morning. Not quite sure about this whole thing.

Playing with my kitchen/restaurant that Santa brought me. Opening my stocking

New shoes, you wouldn't know it but I was even excited about these.

Here I am trying to figure out how to get out of my pjs so I can put them on. It is Molly the train from Thomas. Mimmie thought I would like this one since I love cousin Molly.Daddy giving John some TLC since he was feeling bad. It's Scrambler from Bob the Builder.
My chocolate mouth, I was quite excited to see there was a few pieces of chocolate in my stocking. How does Santa know me so well?
Immediately after opening John's tea set (do you know how hard it is to find one in primary colors?) he had to get water to pour in the cups. My new Craftsmen screwdriver
A new outfit

It's Curious George.

Yes, Mommy was there Christmas Morning too. She was just behind the camera most of the time. She got a new camera for Christmas and was enjoying it.
I love this Thomas flashlight! I have been really enjoying my Elmo Aqua Doodle and Mommy doesn't have to worry about what I am coloring.

Cookies for Santa

Here are the cookies and milk we left out for Santa. Of course, you can't forget the reindeer so we left carrots for them. Here is the plate for Santa, as well as a note. John said Santa needed 5 cookies.
John then decided he wanted one of Santa's cookies.

Our Happy Birthday Jesus Cake

John has really been getting into Happy Birthday Jesus! He was excited we were making a cake. He wants Jesus to come and sit beside him so he can blow out the candles. He goes around saying "Happy Birthday Jesus" in his singing voice. It really is precious.
Tonight we decorated our cake. Here John puts on some of the frosting. I was trying to get John to put the sprinkles in different places besides in one spot, right on top of where I wrote Happy Birthday Jesus! I then decided it didn't matter what the cake looked like, that is not what we are trying to teach John. If he was having fun decorating Jesus' birthday cake, then it was worth it.
Here are some green sprinkles.
The finished product!

Random shots

Since we had company before church on Sunday morning, we got a family shot. John likes to pretend to take a nap with Mommy on the couch.
Don't you love how he closes his eyes.

John has been sick the past two days. He feel asleep this morning watching tv.
What an angel he looks like! Spending some quality time with Abe.
