John has been wanting bunkbeds for the longest time and he finally has some. He was so excited to get his new big bed.

Art Project
John loves art projects. Anytime I see something to paint or make that isn't too expensive I try to pick it up for days we are at home with nothing to do. Grammy had bought a big stepping stone for John to do awhile back. So when I came across two small ones I knew it would be a great project to do the kids handprints. Here is John working on his (we still haven't done Clara's).

The Ghost Hunter
All it takes is one spark to fuel John's imagination. He was watching Scooby Doo the other day and they were helping a friendly ghost get rid of a bad "fake" ghost. So then John became the Ghost Hunter. I then proceeded to sing, "Who ya gonna call? Ghost Busters!" Now that song is stuck in my head. He has one hat on and the other one was for me because after this picture we had to go around the house hunting ghost.

16 Months Old
Clara was 16 months old 2 days ago. She is growing so fast and becoming more and more a joy each day. She absolutely loves her brother as always. She is becoming quite the daddy's girl!! She is quite into sharing, except today when I asked her for a bite of her chocolate chip cookie and she started running away. (She did later feed me her fruit loops though.) She is starting to repeat more and more words - dog, bruber (brother), juice, cookie (that one just today). She can point to her nose, mouth, and belly button. She actually opens her mouth up wide and sticks out her tongue on mouth. She has a cheesy little grin now. She loves books. She will bring you one and then sit in your lap for you to read it to her. She still only has 6 teeth but the girl makes the most of them. She will eat about anything! The other day she ate a muffin and a powdered sugar doughnut for breakfast. I then noticed one of John's was gone, she had swiped it and went to the corner to eat it herself. So funny! Today when I picked her up from the nursery at MOPS the worker told me she was just a joy, so happy, smiling, playing, and didn't cry even when she wiped her nose. Oh, how we love this little girl!
I took pictures of her in an old outfit of mine.
That cheesy little grin.
She loves being outside too!
She is starting to love on her babydolls too!
She is also a climber! We have to watch her all the time. She loves to stand on this old rocking chair of mine. She knows she is doing something wrong because she climbs up and looks right at you waiting for you to tell her no. Also, this outfit was one of John's. He actually wore it in Italy when he was 9 months old. I looked back at pictures and he wore it our first day of tours - to the Vatican. Just thought that was a cool little piece of history.

Shelby's Birthday Party
Last weekend John went to his friend Shelby's birthday party. He had a good time but for some reason was a little timid. I actually didn't get too many pictures with my camera because I was taking pictures with Shelby's mom's camera.
