Clara's Baptism

Well, the big day finally arrived and Clara was baptized. It took a little effort trying to coordinate schedules between family, the church, and our good friend Bishop (Dick) Wills. I worked for Dick for three years while living in Fort Lauderdale and he is one of my (Lori's) best friends. Rarely a week goes by that I don't have some sort of communication with Dick so it is really special to have had him baptized John and now Clara.

The service, we also joined the church this Sunday.
Handing Clara to Dick.Dick baptizing Clara. Pastor Lenoir puts water from the Jordan River in the baptismal font. We think that is very special.Talking with Dick after the baptism but during the service. The Bishop is a bad influence. Here Pastor Lenoir is talking to the children after the baptism. They sit at the front during baptisms and then welcome the child into the congregation. They have their own response where they are told about God making the child, and they say that is good. They have several other things they are asked and respond to and it is really sweet.

She looks so cute. Glad you found a nice church to join. We have NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING. It sounds like you have found a decent Christian group, also NOTHING like that here.

What a special day for your family. Congrats!
