Anna Faith

Sunday, September 30th we were blessed with another baby girl, Anna Faith Newman. She was four days past her due date and I was set to be induced on Monday morning. After giving up hope that she would come on her own, my water broke at 7 pm and at 8:50 she was born. I arrived at the hospital at 7:45, was dialated to 6 cm at 8:15 when my doctor checked me, had my IV at 8:30 and blood taken, at 8:40 I started pushing and she arrived at 8:50 pm with NO DRUGS for mommy!! We were blessed with the surprise of a precious baby girl - Miss Anna Faith Newman was 7 lbs, 6 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She is our biggest baby and simply precious!

 Our amazing friend and doctor - Julie. Her and Burt were in residency together and I was blessed with her being able to be my doctor and actually deliver as she travels a lot with the Army. She was actually the doctor who took care of John when he was born as well. This time she was able to deliver and take care of Anna and myself. We also delivered in the same room as John was delivered, 6 days short of exactly 7 years apart.

Mermaid and Pirate

John and Clara were invited to a pirate and mermaid birthday party on Sunday. Here are my little pirate and mermaid ready to go. John wanted his face with a scar and bloody like they did at Disney World's Pirate League so Mommy tried.

John's First Flag Football Game

John's flag football season started last week. He seems a little more focused this year and it is a little more intense than last year. He has mainly been playing defense and then playing center as well.

First Den Meeting

John had his first den meeting on Monday and wore his official uniform. I asked him to let me take his picture and he totally posed on his own. I loved it!!

Matching American Girl

Clara has been wanting matching clothes with her American Girl ever since our neighbor Annaliese has the matching McKenna set. Well, the AG clothes don't start in Clara's size but luckily Kohl's had some things. So when her daddy was looking for something to bring her back from Texas I told him I had something already that she would love. Clara was so happy to be matching her look alike doll for bedtime.

My Soccer Star

Clara had her first soccer game on Saturday. She was so excited and too cute!! Her team is the ponies and they happen to be purple. I feel bad for the three little boys who are on the team. Here she is pre-game ready to go.

 She got to go out for the coin toss and loved this shot of her and her little friend holding hands. Neither one of them wanted to call heads or tails.

Baby Shower

My neighbors threw me a baby shower last week. It was so special as I have only known most of these ladies only a month and with baby #3 really wasn't expecting anything.
