Predators Hockey

We went to the Nashville Predators' game two weeks ago. We had so much fun!!

John and Gnash, super bummed it was blurry but Gnash was walking off so we were rushed to try to take a picture.

Clara found a stuffed Gnash to get her picture with.

The crew playing air hockey

John on the kids' play rink.

Gnash coming down from the roof was a highlight.

It is hockey so we have to have a little fight going on.

Clara with her pretzel.

John doing funny things with his pretzel.

Leaving Bridgestone Arena!! What a fun family outing made even better that we got free tickets from MWR!!

New Year's Reception

For being in the Army for almost seven years of active time now, we spent the first six without any reasons to get dressed up. Since Burt got back from Afghanistan we have certainly made up for that. We had a New Year's reception at our new brigade commander's house in mid-January.

Reading Counts

John has been working hard all year to get his Reading Counts shirt. You have to have 50 points worth of passed RC tests to get it. I think that it is a little hard when most of the books you test on are 1 point books. He was the 2nd in his class to get it and he was so proud. We were so proud of him too!

Cozumel Day

Kim and I getting ready to hit rainy and wet Cozumel. Becky, myself, and Kim in Cozumel.

I always have to hit Hard Rock Cafe.

Our authentic Mexican restaurant - it was so yummy!!!

My taco
So good!!

True local place that my husband would have loved. This is the front where there was a "tourist" menu with probably quadruple the price. We got our food in the back where a local guy told us to go. We did order chips, salsa, and guacamole in the front which is where we learned the difference in the prices.

Dark clouds and rain at Paradise Beach

Kim and I posing

It would have been nice to hang out here if it was sunny.

These were some posers.

The pool at Paradise Beach

Posing with John's sombrero

Our chocolate covered strawberries we received as apology for room service forgetting our creamer for our coffee at breakfast.

My eggplant entree at dinner.

My other entree - Tiger shrimp
