This weekend was an AWESOME weekend! Friday and Saturday I got the privelege to attend a Living Proof Live event in Jacksonville with Beth Moore. I have been enjoying Bible studies written by Beth Moore for about the past two years and have been wanting to attend an event for a while. With the awesome help of my in-laws, thanks Grammy and Grandad, by taking John for the weekend I was able to attend. I was totally filled with the Lord's presence and was able to bask in the awesomeness of God. If you have not been able to do a Beth Moore study, I strongly encourage it. They can take some time but what you learn and grow in the Lord is amazing. She has an incredible love for the Lord and makes you want to grow more on fire for him as well. You can go to

Friday night we were in line at about 4:30 with the doors opening early at 6 pm our group was able to get on the first 3 rows of 14,500 people. Here is Beth Moore the first night.

Sara and I before Friday night's event.

Ok, so Saturday morning we were up at 4:30 after heading to bed after midnight. At 5:15 am we were the first ones at the door. Front row for us again. Woo hoo! Kim likes to be up close!! The funny thing is that at about 7:20 they let special needs in. One of the special needs folk was pregnant so everyone in our group was like, she's pregnant too! The security guard let Kim and I in early since I was "special needs." After being out there for over 2 hours, I was let in early. I couldn't believe I was labeled special needs due to pregnancy. We still would have been on the front but we were able to walk slowly in and get our seats.
This is not our whole group, as some elected to let us save their seats. Myself, Sharon, Kim, Sara, Katie, Tricia, Julie, and Dana

Up close and personal as Beth Moore was praising the Lord.

Beth Moore teaching on Saturday.

After the conference we went for lunch, here Kim and I are eating a nice big piece of chocolate cake. We stayed in Jacksonville until Sunday and had a great girls weekend.

That looks like a lot of fun. You're very fortunate to have a nice group. I love Beth Moore, but I have no group of Christian friends here to do a Bible Study-no MOPS group, no other Christian friends, nada. It's been a major gap in my life. I would love having a group like you do!

What a FUN time! Love Beth Moore and chocolate cake!!
Looks like y'all had an awesome girls get-a-way. I will say, y'all are "go getters" with the early wake up times! Whew....
Lori! You make me jealous. We are going to the Deeper Still Conference in Atlanta in June and I am so excited! We did Beth Moore studies one behind the other in Maine but none so far here. We are taking 17 women to the conference so that really excites me. Especially to know that they will all fall in love with her and want to do her studies! She is awesome! I love going in deep with her! Erika
Wow, soo awesome, I wish I could have been there too. That cake looks soooo good. I'm really enjoying this study on the Psalms! I've had such an awesome week and can't wait to share tomorrow what I've learned and how God spoke to me through this weeks study!
Lori,
I know it was the grace of God that you had 3 seats left on the front row...with Mama's bad knees and due to the fact the HE knew we would make it "just in time!" He used you to make sure we had those seats....Isn't God Awesome!
We had a great time and I love the praise and worship...wish I could have that here every Sunday! Lora's church is going in Atlanta to Deeper Still (not sure if she can make it), but I sure would like to go...I am not off that Friday though....I'm sure Beth's daughter will be there...
Love, Laura
Looks like a fun girls trip! Beth Moore is awesome to see live, wish I could've gone. I can't even imagine how blessed you all felt afterwards.I like how the pregnancy thing helped y'all to get in a bit earlier! Totally take advantage of that!
