Callaway Gardens

We love being back close to Callaway Gardens. We spent a day there a few weeks ago and had a great day. We spent time at the beach, went to the FSU circus, and ate dinner.

My Two Little Surgeons

Since we had a mandatory evacuation we headed to Tallahassee to spend a few days and see what would happen. Well, the kids were just as happy to be hanging out with Grammy and Grandad. Here they are performing "surgery" on Grandad. Notice Clara is marking which leg to do surgery on (she wrote all over both in red marker - blood.)

A Tropical Storm Vacation

Well we woke up Sunday morning to Tropical Storm Debby in full force. Kids woke me up at 7:30, I started the coffee and by 8 am the power was out. Woo hoo!! So we spent the morning just hanging out trying to play Monopoly and Life with a 4 and 6 year old. Finally Burt and John decided to head outside and check out the storm and go for a swim.

 There were three pool chairs at the bottom of the pool so my boys decided to dig them out. They got two of the three out of the pool.

 Then Clara decided to brave the rain the second trip to the pool.

 Finally around 4:20 we found out about a mandatory evacuation so we left the island and headed back to Tallahassee.

St George (Pre Tropical Storm Debby)

We arrived at St George on a Saturday and headed to the beach for about an hour and a half before the storm set in.

Leon Basketball Camp

The week we moved into our new house John and Clara stayed with Grammy and Grandad. Well, I signed John up for basketball camp at Leon which he was SUPER excited about. He loves doing anything his dad did so playing basketball in the same gym his dad used to was huge. Thanks Grammy and Grandad (and Coach) for taking him and Grammy for taking the pictures!!
