Castle Cake for my Princess

Clara has been talking for months about her Sleeping Beauty party. So what else would a princess have other than a castle cake?

Flowers from Daddy

This little girl loves flowers from her daddy. I think he has spoiled her this year because she has received more flower deliveries from her mommy. On mother's day when I received flowers Clara ran and asked if they were from her and then threw herself on the floor crying when they weren't. She was more than happy to receive this special delivery from her daddy.

A Little Indian Warpaint

The kids (John) decided to use the sidewalk chalk mixed with water as Indian warpaint. I was ok with that until he decided they needed mudbaths too.

First T-ball Practice

John's first t-ball practice on May 10 -

Does that not look like a strut of an older player?

Love that smile coming in for a water break!!!

This is what Clara thought of practice - it was too sweaty!!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day before church, pretty good for the timer on the camera sat on the water hose box and the first and only shot. Since I wasn't going to have any help going out to eat and didn't want to cook, I opted for Subway and a picnic as my mother's day meal.

Strawberry Patch

When we were having nice weather we headed out to the Strawberry Patch and picked strawberries. The kids LOVED it!! It was such a nice outing. I think Clara ate as many as she picked. John is such a farmer/country boy this was totally his thing.

We took our friend Isaiah with us.
Clara and her friend Hannah who we met there.

Hannah's big sister Emma running around.

John showing off his treasure.
John admiring his sister's treasure.

This boy seriously cracks me up!
