Magic Kingdom - Day 3

We started our third day at the Contemporary Resort for breakfast at Chef Mickey's. It was yummy and fun!

My friend Kim and her kids Hunter and Millie. We were able to meet up at the park on Thursday morning. Kim and her husband Donny live in Orlando while Donny is in seminary. Kim and I went our Chrysalis walk together in February 1994.

Animal Kingdom - Day 2

Our second day we hit the Animal Kingdom. We were there when it opened and there when it closed. The kids had a great time even though there weren't a lot of rides. The first thing we did was hit the safari ride. Both kids LOVED it! They said it was unusual to see the lion awake because they normally sleep around 18 hours a day.

We had breakfast at Donald's Safari Breakfast. It wasn't as crowded as some of the other meals so the characters actually came around twice. John got to get up and play an instrument during breakfast as well. Here is John with Mickey.

Here I am with Goofy. I always said Goofy was my boyfriend when I was a little girl, strange I know! I have a picture of Goofy and I when I went to Disney at age 4 so I had to get my picture again.

Clara was not to the point of liking Mickey yet.

John with Pluto. Pluto is one of John's favorite characters. He actually picked a stuffed Pluto as one of his prizes to bring home.

When we were preparing to watch the parade you were supposed to stay behind the tape. Clara proceded to stand in the middle of the road.

Magic Kingdom - Day 1

We had so much fun our Disney Vacation. Here we are walking from the bus stop to the Magic Kingdom the first day. I LOVE the look on John's face! That face is worth everything. We were blessed with wonderful weather, very short lines, and wonderful family time. Clara and I waiting for the park to open. Notice the pumpkins behind us. On our first day, which was on Tuesday, it was decorated for Halloween. When we went back to the Magic Kingdom on Thursday, the Christmas decorations were up. It was neat to see both!

It's a Small World! John liked it the first day but the next day we went back he said, "Mom, this isn't a ride." "What is it John?" "It is a nothing!" This was after his rides on roller coasters and water rides. I think he is going to be like him mom and like to ride fast rides.

On the tea cups! Burt doesn't like round and round rides and John kept spinning it more and more and laughing about it.

John with Peter Pan, one of the main guys he wanted to see. He wanted to know where his sword was and had me ask him. He told us that Mickey doesn't let him fly in the park with it.

Parade pictures - Snow White and Prince Charming saying hello to Burt and John. They actually stopped right in front of Clara and I and did a little dance. This was probably one of the main guys John wanted to see - Captain Hook. I asked several people if he was ever in the park for pictures and really didn't get a clear answer so I am guessing not or not very often. I was happy he did walk right by John in the parade though even though this was the best picture I got.
