Sunday School Hayride

Last Sunday our Sunday School took a hayride to the Powers' farm. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time on the hayride, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows, and playing. John, of course, loved being on a farm and proceeded to talk about it nonstop for the rest of the day. Clara loved seeing all the cows and calves. Clara has become quite independent in the form of feeding herself. So I try to strip her down before we eat. You can see why!!

Chuck E. Cheese

John's choice once again for his birthday dinner was Chuck E. Cheese. The thing is he seriously loves their pizza too. He ate 4 pieces that night. Crazy!

Key West

Burt and I spent a wonderful week in Key West a few weeks ago. The kids stayed with Grammy and Grandad and were spoiled LOTS! We were spoiled by being able to sleep in and relax. Thanks Grammy and Grandad for watching the kids and lending us your week in Key West!

John's School Birthday Party

We actually did John's school birthday party the day after his actual birthday but I have just been so behind on posting I am just now getting them on. He had a pirate theme at school and I took cupcakes and apple juice for snack time. John was embarrassed they were singing to him.

17 Months

Here are pictures from Clara's monthly photo session on the 15th. I guess we will try to keep this up until she is 2 years old since we have been doing it since she was 1 month old. It is so neat to see the progression of time.
