Hot Air Balloon Festival

Well, it was a bust. It pretty much was yucky all weekend but Saturday afternoon it looked like it was clearing up. We headed up to Callaway for the Hot Air Balloon Festival but as you can tell a storm came in so they couldn't go up. So here is the field they were supposed to launch from. This is the close as we got to seeing one go up. Someone got out the basket to display it.
We did have fun waiting to see if they were going to go up. Here are Daddy and me.
Crawling on the ground.
So are they going to get this show on the road or what?
Mommy is tickling me.

I ran off so Mommy had to go after me. Now Daddy and I are going fast, fast. Daddy caught me this time.

It's Gameday . . .

and I am confused. I love my Go Go Vols as you can tell from my shirt. But Daddy says the UCF Golden Knights are our team, as you can tell from my hat. Then Grammy and Grandad put their plug in for the FSU Seminoles, as you can see from my shoes. I have a feeling these gamedays are going to cause me to have an identity complex.

The Imagination of a Child

Most know of how John loves his outdoor mowing, weedeating, and the blower (which his Daddy does not have but Grandad does.) John always has his mowers out and loves to help his Daddy when it is time to mow the lawn. Well, John found the Club in the closet and started calling it a weedeater. His Daddy tried to take it away from him but once I explained the purpose (to be John's weedeater), he let him play with it. Here John is playing with his "weedeater." He also has to crank it and the mower up. His Daddy asked, "Where did he get that from?" I said, "You always tell him you have to crank the mower and weedeater up." And we know John likes to do anything Daddy does.

John's weedeater
Cranking it up
He also makes a noise as if it really is making a weedeater noise. Oh, the joy of a child's imagination

A Visit from Grammy, Grandad, and Nana

Yesterday we had a visit from Grammy, Grandad, and Nana. They brought Abe back to our house and played for a while.

I am showing Grandad how to shave with shaving cream. This is how it is done Grandad. Well, maybe I just made a mess.
Mommy made homemade soy ice cream. I love cream!
Here Daddy is showing Grandad some of the things he got on his trip to Bolivia.

Here I am trying to take a picture with Grammy and Nana.
I have decided maybe I will take after Daddy and be a DO. I like doing OMT on Grandad. I think I will help Daddy with Grammy too.
Doing some damage with Nana's cane.

Just running around.

First Day Back to School

Today was my first day back to school. Here I am walking in with my backpack that Aunt Lola got for me.
Checking everything out. When I got in the room, this cute girl had to come check me out.
At the end of the day, I was happy to see Mommy. I was a good boy today. The teachers said they can't believe I only come one day a week. I behaved very well.

Aunt Lola's Dorm Room

Yesterday Mommy helped Aunt Lola move into her dorm room. I got to go play with Aunt Kelly and Cousin Molly. I am sure I had more fun but here are some pictures of Mommy's day.

Mommy came and got me so I could go to see Aunt Lola's new digs. As we were driving to campus I started saying Go Go Gols! I didn't want to leave because I was still saying Go Go Gols! This made Mommy very happy, but I don't think it will make Daddy happy. Trying to climb on to Chelsey's bed.Getting on to Aunt Lola's bed. I am excited about this. Aunt Lola and I are chilling out. Chelsey hasn't put her stuff up yet so I was having fun going through it. Taking a water break Just relaxing in Aunt Lola's room.
