John won the Law Day art contest for the Fort Benning schools. Pretty good considering his mom told him it was a "required" homework assignment instead of an optional one. He was pretty happy once he got out of school on two separate occasions and won $50.
We had a neighborhood color run for the kids a while back. The kids had so much fun and have requested it to be an annual event. The end turned into a color war between the kids and the parents.
I have been neglecting the blog in a big way but the end of the school year becomes so busy that we just were going nonstop. John was awarded the Star Student for personal courage. We were so proud of him.
I only do the Easter bunny for their first Easter and it was actually John who reminded me we needed to take a trip. John and Clara are in a funny/fake smile stage right now but overall it was good.
Our sweet girl was christened last month at my home church and the church Burt and I were married in. It was nice to have so many people around for her special day.
