Christmas Eve

Ready for one present to open on Christmas Eve. I let them open one from their cousins in Arizona - Madison, Luke, and Alex. John was shaking it to try to figure out what it was (Martha, you have to find this funny as it wasn't hard to figure out.)
Opening

Keith's Live Nativity

One of my favorite memories growing up is my home church's live nativity. I enjoyed going when I was young to see the nativity scene live with animals and then standing in the cold while I was in UMYF. I now love watching the kids get excited about seeing it.

John feeding the animals.
Clara enjoyed it but was quite upset about there not be a baby Jesus in the manger.

Jesus' Birthday Cake

The kids were hard at work to make Jesus' birthday cake. Clara getting the batter ready. Brother helping too.

The favorite part - the decorating.

Making perfection?!
Four and a half tubs of sprinkles! Clara is the only one who actually ate a piece.
