Grandma and Grandpa's House

We have done lots of traveling over the past 2 weeks so we have lots of pictures! Here is the first of them - the kids and I spent a morning over at my grandparents house, their great-grandparents. John loves hanging out here because he thinks his grandpa can do anything. He even wants him to go with us on our next trip to Disney World. I was sitting there thinking while the kids were playing how blessed they are to have great-grandparents to play with them.

Love this picture of Clara beside grandpa.

John thinks grandpa made this tractor just for him. In reality most of the grandkids have played with it and it was in pretty bad condition the time the great-grandkids (John and Clara) came into the picture. Grandpa fixed it up at the urging of John but John thinks it is just for him.

Clara put on Daddy's boots the other day and started walking around in them. I love how one is facing backwards. How she walked in them, I have no idea!

Reading Time

A new activity of Clara's is to read to Abe. He just sits like a good little dog and listens to her jabber.

She even brings him his own book to read.

I put Clara in John's Easter jonjon. I have to say she was pretty cute in her brother's little outfit. Notice her church shoes that she wants to wear all the time.

Clara's Easter Egg Hunt

The kids had their Easter Egg Hunts at school on Wednesday so of course I had to go watch. I text Burt to tell him how cute they were and how many eggs John found. He said, "I hope you got photos." Seriously, does my hubby know his wife?? Ha!!

Here is Clara on the way out to the egg hunt. Clara was trying to get eggs inside the fence on the way. How cute! This girl was ready!
