Playing with Cousins

After Christmas we headed over to east Tennessee to spend the night with Aunt Jeannie and Uncle James. Burt's cousin Edward and his family were coming in from Yuma and we wanted to make sure we got to see them. It had been about 18 months since we had seen them but I think all of these Army brats know how to transition into being friends fairly quickly.

Christmas Day we had our Happy Birthday Jesus party! I think John was excited!!

Christmas Day Play

Christmas Day it started snowing. It was just a few flurries for about 30 minutes but we ran outside to play in them. It was so neat to have snow on Christmas even if it was just to watch for a few minutes.

We had such a wonderful Christmas day started by an early wake-up call by John. Here John and Burt are waiting at the top of the stairs until Clara woke up. John walking in and seeing all of his presents that Santa left for him and his sister.
