Living Proof Live

This weekend I had the privilege to be able to head to Memphis to attend Living Proof Live. If you don't know what it is, it is wonderful Bible teaching lead by Beth Moore with praise by Travis Cottrell. It is absolutely awesome! There were over 13,000 women there to just be totally fed by the Word of God. This was my second LPL and it was great because I was able to meet up with my friend Kim from Columbus. Plus, I was able to meet a great group of Siestas (ladies who follow the LPL blog and are sisters in Christ.)

Friday afternoon, we have to be the first group in line!!Kim and I at the event Friday night!! Loving Beth preachin' it!
Praise Friday night!
Saturday morning we were up at 4:30 to be in line before 5:30, after we went to bed after 1 am. It was cold but we it is totally worth it to sit on the floor at the event!! Abby, Kim, and I waiting in line.
Beth on Saturday morning!
I love her facial expressions!

Talking about pedicures! She cracks me up!
Praising the Lord on Saturday morning
Dinner late Saturday night with a wonderful group of new friends.

FSU Game

We arrived in Tallahassee on Friday so John could see his beloved Seminoles play on Saturday. Clara went to her first game with her seasoned veteran brother. It was a HOT game at noon so we ended up leaving around halftime!

Clara and Grandad on the bus ride to the stadium.
Clara soon after entering the stadium. The poor little thing was tired and just passed out!
A visit to see Renegade - pregame! The crew - pregame!
Flyover! It was military appreciation day so we all got to stand up when they played the Army song since Dad is in the Army!Putting the spear into the ground.
John doing the chop! He is so cute even if he is a Seminole!
Clara cheering below the stands!
John acting silly!
With his game face on -
Mommy and the kiddos! Clara made friends with the USF fans! She must just want to be with the winning team! She was funny. She kept going up and sitting with them. It is a good thing she is cute and they didn't mind.

Leaving the Game - John was still cheering for the Noles!

Park Play

John absolutely loves playing at the park across the street from Grammy and Grandad's house. I don't think we were there an hour and we were already heading over to play.
It was hot so John was sharing his Whataburger Unsweet Tea with Clara. (Grandad has gotten John on these nice little drinks.)

The kids taking a break with Grandad.

John's Haircut

Yesterday John thought his bangs were too long and decided he needed a haircut. Problem was he decided to give himself the haircut. He had just got a spanking in this picture so he was quite upset. The Hair!! He did use the haircutting scissors for this endeavor though. I guess that was smart if the haircut wasn't.

Driving

John wanted Cheetos for a snack when we stopped at a convenient store on the ride down to Tally. Of course that meant that Clara wanted Cheetos too. This meants we had a big mess on our hands when we got out.

Happy 4th Birthday John!

Happy Birthday to my darling boy! At 4 am, 4 years ago I gave birth to this precious 6 lb. 11 oz. boy. He is the most energetic, funny, shy yet talkative if he knows you, wildman with the biggest imagination I have known. I am so thankful that God blessed me with this precious boy. Happy 4th Birthday John Henry!!

I thought I would include some of the pictures from the FSU game since John is the most diehard fan I know.

Leon Game

We have done some extensive traveling over the past week and a half. Here is the start of our travels. I took the kids to Tallahassee so they could spend the week with Grammy and Grandad while Burt and I headed to Key West. The first night there John went to his first Leon football game.
