A Package from Grammy and Grandad

This past week we received an Easter package from Grammy and Grandad. I think Clara is excited!John opening it up.

John's School Easter Egg Hunt

Wednesday John's class had an Easter Egg Hunt. I went back to the school to take some pictures of him. He was too cute! He is serious about some Easter egg hunting this year.

Here he is with his class walking into the hunt. There has only been 6 kids there this week because it is Fort Campbell Spring Break even though Clarksville-Montgomery County had theirs last week. He goes to school at a local Methodist church which goes by the Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools'calendar. Getting started on the hunt.

Still running! When he first got started he was running back and forth from the cars to the chairs. He then realized it was easier to just go in a straight line.

John was quite proud of his eggs. I think he ended up with about 20 eggs but his teacher split all the eggs up so everyone got the same number after the hunt.

He Strikes Again

So this happened in December 2006 - By this little guy -

Today this little girl got a shiner -

By the same guy only he is bigger - It was an accident. She was crawling, he was walking playing fireman with big steps. He kicked her in the face. He immediately said he was sorry. I was upset because she is going to have a black eye in Easter pictures. John said, "Mom, Don't worry God will heal her. We just need to pray for Clara." So how could I be mad after that?

With Clara crawling around you never know where she will end up. The other afternoon Abe was in the kennel since it was raining pretty hard. Next thing you know Clara was beside Abe petting his nose and he was licking her hands. They were pretty sweet.

Picnic Time

Last week John was out of school so we had to find ways to entertain ourselves. One day we had a picnic outside. It is interesting now that Clara is so mobile and wants to put everything in her mouth.

Trip to the Zoo

Wednesday we took a trip to the zoo with our friends Karen, Abby, and Isaac. We had a good day seeing the animals.

John, Clara, and I decided that instead of going home we would extend our zoo theme with lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. John has come to really enjoy eating there after the first time we at there for his birthday. He was scared and crying during the thunderstorm the first time but now he asks when the next one is going to happen.

Mowing

The other day John had his mower out and we noticed he went and got the green grocery bag. He said he need a mower bag. We were cracking up at his creativity.

God is Awesome

I have seen this on several blogs the past few days but felt I had to share as well. It truly makes you ask how someone can not believe that God is the author and creator of life.
