John's First Tennessee Game

John enjoyed his first of many Tennessee games I am sure two weeks ago. We went to the Tennessee vs. Alabama game. It didn't have the outcome we wanted but we had a fun time. Thanks Nana and Papaw for taking us!

Here Aunt Lola and John are pregame. John enjoying his pregame tailgating.

QB Nick Stephens, When I told John to watch the football players, he told me they weren't the football players because they weren't wearing their uniforms.

Going into the stadium, one little boy was already tired.

There was a pregame celebration for the 10th anniversary of the National Championship team, that was my era. Who did we play in that game you might ask? Florida State. It is a good thing I didn't know my hubby and in-laws at that time.

God is God Today, Tomorrow, and Always!

I have to say I was very depressed last night and this morning at the state of the election. I am not one to hide I am a strong Republican, conservative Christian. My Papaw and Grandpa being the ones that most shaped those views. Even after my parents divorced, these two men would get together and talk politics. Burt and I talked this morning a little how our futures would be shaped by this as it will shape our decisions about staying in the military or getting out in a few years. God only knows what the future holds. So I dropped John off at school this morning and came home and Clara was fast asleep. I got in God's word and had an amazing quiet time for over an hour while little bit slept. Doesn't God know when you need that time and he gives it to you? She woke up just as I was finishing. I was reminded that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow! He will take care of us if we just believe and put our faith in him. We must pray like never before that our country can and will hold true to the values of our forefathers. I was also convicted about putting my trust that one man was going to shape this country, when I know we were already shaped 2000 years ago by a man who died for our sins. Our lives are in his hands. Jesus is my Saviour and Lord, my trust is in him. My prayers will be that my God will take care of my future like he always has and I can truly say my hope is in you Lord.

My mom sent me this video a week ago and I found it on GodTube. I hope you enjoy it and may we always be One Nation Under God!

Baby Pictures

I have had some requests for some baby pictures to determine who Clara looks like. This first one is my mom.

Me at 4 months, Clara makes this exact face when she cries. Me at 5 months

Clara makes this face as well.

Trick-or-Treating

Here are pictures of our Halloween Day.

Trick or treating at Kirsta's house

John, Chase, and Bryce trick-or-treating at our house. We took them with us while their Mommy handed out candy.

I loved Clara's bumble bee shoes.
