Playing with Emerson
This has become a custom occurance between John and Emerson. They have been spending lots of time in each other's little pools. This day was not a scheduled "pool" playdate so that is why Emerson is in his clothes. We played at Emerson's pool this morning but these are from two weeks ago.

Playing at the Koblie's house
We have been spending a lot of times with our friends lately. I don't know if this is supposed to make it easier or harder to leave them.
First Trip to the Park
On June 3 we took a trip to the park. It was Clara's first trip to the park. I think her big brother enjoyed the trip much more than Clara did. Clara slept the entire time.
Kate and John swinging.
Kate and John
These two are always together. You can ask John who his girlfriend is and he says, "Kate."

Big Boy
John has been growing up fast since Clara was born. He decided he wanted to wear underwear and is doing great at going to the potty. Most mornings he wakes up dry but I still haven't let him sleep the night in underwear. Several nights he wanted to sleep in a big boy bed, which means he sleeps in the extra bedroom. One night he even said no blankie, no paci. That was big stuff for this little boy. He also no longer wants to wear pajamas but "sleeping shorts" aka boxer shorts over his diaper. His sleeping shorts are a pair of boxer shorts I bought for Uncle Rylan and Uncle Jace when I was a freshman in college. They say "My First Tennessee Boxers." Daddy really loves them, ha! Here he is his first night in the big boy bed.

A Progression
I am going to try to do a progression of pictures of what the kids have been doing the past few weeks that we have been offline so you can see how Clara has grown and then what all John has been up to. We have stayed busy as usual. My memory card had about 600 new pictures to load from the past few weeks. I know this is the source of my computer woos. I am trying to get them all on to Snapfish and burned to cd before I crash again.

John the Handyman Once Again
The past several weeks we have been doing things to help the house to sell. John helped Mommy one day to spackle the door stop where Abe scratched it up. He called this painting and made quite a mess but it was helpful for a few minutes to Mommy.

We're Back!
Yes, finally we are back online. I am not sure how long it will last since the computer is running very slow but I am going to try to update as much as I can for as long as I can. Papaw is working on us a new computer, I think Nana is really putting a push for that since she is missing our updates.
Here is a sign the church put up in our yard. It says St. Paul United Methodist Welcomes a New Member to its Flock! Clara also got a tag for her diaper bag that says "I am a member of the flock at St. Paul UMC." I thought that was super cute. John didn't get this star treatment since we weren't members yet when he was born. We are going to miss our church family so much when we move.
One of the first people we met when we came to St. Paul was Ms. Betty. She took us under her wing right away and has been like a grandmother to us. We are REALLY going to miss Ms. Betty. We eat with her every Wednesday at church, John used to call her Betty Eats because always going to eat with her. She also spoils John with lots of presents for every holiday, birthday, and just because she found something on sale. She has been crying ever since we told her we were moving. She cried tonight when I took her picture with John. Oh, and John decided he didn't want to have his picture made with her. I should also mention that Ms. Betty calls John her little bubba.

An Update
So here is what is going on with our family right now. We got an offer on the house on Friday and are under contract! Praise the Lord! We were a bit stressed to say the least. Please continue to pray that everything works out and goes smoothly in the coming weeks until we close. The packers are set to be at the house on 25th and 26th. Burt graduates on the 27th and we will go to east Tennessee for a few days while our stuff heads to Fort Campbell. We are going to live on base for at least 6 months until we figure things out. We are currently in Tallahassee visiting with Grammy, Grandad, and Nana. (That explains my computer access at the present time.) John is still in full form of being a boy and Clara is already growing and changing so much. She is one month old today! She is losing her hair and currently has a receding hairline. It is pretty funny. The girl likes to eat and is keeping her mommy busy in that regard. She has given us a few smiles and we are so in love and blessed with our two children. I really do hope to update you all soon with pictures. We have been so busy the past few weeks and I have a full memory card due to not being able to download them.

Some pictures to view
Since I can't upload pictures right now, here are the pictures from a photographer we had come to the house this week. John was not the most cooperative but overall I am very pleased with them.

Crashed
Just to let everyone know, our computer crashed. I have been about to go crazy since I don't have access to Internet at home anymore. I have been going to the library once or twice a week to check e-mail, although with two little ones I don't have time to respond to them. I hope to have a new computer soon. I have plenty of pictures and things to update everyone on. Just a quick FYI - we will be moving in 2 weeks! Yikes! We still haven't sold our house so please play that happens soon. We will be moving on base at Fort Campbell for at least 6 months as we figure out what to do. Love to all!
