My First Visit to the Varsity
What is a trip to Atlanta without a trip to the famed Varsity? We decided on our way back from our visit with the cousins we would stop in. John had his first Varsity experience which is a rite of passage for Dad's side of the family.
Getting ready for my food.
A Visit with Cousin Rosie
Yesterday we ventured off to Atlanta to visit with cousins Sally, Matt, and Rosie. I think John has found him a new friend in Rosie. He wanted to feed her goldfish and chocolate while we were there. He also wanted to take her home with us where she would sleep in his bed. Then we were leaving and were going to get ice cream he wanted to bring some back for Baby Rosie and Sally. We still have a ways to go on the gentleness with babies but we are getting there.
We weren't there a few minutes and John reached down to hold Rosie's hand.
Yes, I am holding her hand, but don't look too long because I don't want you all to know I like her.

I brought her some of my favorite books to read her.
Here is sweet baby Rosie!

Daddy holding Rosie, me with my goldfish thinking that I will be nice and share.
Yes, even I got to hold baby Rosie. Isn't she sweet!
Oh, and if you are wondering why there aren't any pictures of the new parents, Matt was at work. He did stop by to see us for lunch and Sally was refusing any pictures. I do have one but I was nice and didn't post it for her.

Playing Outside
I am behind on posting some pictures but am trying to catch up. I guess this was 2 Sundays ago when Daddy was doing rounds until late afternoon. John came home from church and wanted to play football. Here he is as the kicker.
Now I am going to run with it.
Thinking over what to drive for the day.
I guess I will take the Jeep out for a spin.
I had to give you a better shot of the hat and hair. John for some reason likes to wear his hat either sideways or backwards. This day it was sideways and since he is a tad bit independent, he put it on himself. Everytime I looked at him I had to laugh with that hair sticking out the side.

My Sick Baby Boy
Don't you just hate it when your sweet baby is sick? John spent yesterday throwing up (I know nice post, huh?) I am hoping that part is over with but now he just doesn't feel good. He spent the morning wanting to snuggle up with Mommy in bed then decided he would watch some tv. He feel alseep watching Barney, which is still on. He has non-matching pjs on due to some diaper leakage. He did not like that he couldn't put Buzz back on. He also wanted his picture with Santa which is laying beside him. Anything they want when they are sick, right?

My First Visit to Chuck E. Cheese
Today we took our first visit to Chuck E. Cheese (Mommy hasn't been since she was a kid.) We met a group from MOPS there and we had a fun time. I mean how can you not with greasy pizza, lots of games, rides, and singing animals. John didn't want to get too close to the stage and he got scared at the monster truck but other than that we had a great day.
Taking a ride with Chuck E. Cheese
Who knew Scoop and Bob would be there? Now I will never want to leave.

Can we fix it? Yes, we can. John's favorite saying.

A Visit from the Armstrongs
Sunday we had a visit from Uncle Chris, Aunt Laura, "Aunt" Brandi, "Uncle" Ryan, Kennedy, and P on their way back to Tennessee from Florida. We were happy to see them and John was happy they brought food to share.
P playing with the Cozy Coupe.
P wanting John to play trucks with him.

Kennedy helping John open more Christmas presents. I think P wanted some too.
Kennedy was good at getting them started for me. Thanks Aunt Laura and Uncle Chris for the movies and Thanks Aunt Jeannie and Uncle James for the new book.

P was trying to give me a hug but I didn't want one so I climbed up on the chair so he couldn't get me.
I might have been too fast, or too high, for P but Kennedy caught up with me.
I might act like I don't want her hugs, but look at that smile.
Thanks for stopping by on your back to Tennessee Armstrong clan.

Playing with New Toys
This is the morning after we returned from Tennessee. John found all his toys right where we left them, in the middle of the floor. Here he is behind the tree with the screwdriver. He kept going there before Christmas and before I made a blockage with the packages. It is a good thing we took the tree down this weekend.
I love his morning hair!

Let's see what I can do with this thing!
Here Mommy, you want to see it?

Playing with the Aqua Doodle again.

Hanging out with Uncle Larkin
We spent some time playing with Uncle Larkin while in Tennessee. I wasn't feeling so good so I didn't play to my full potential. I usually go nonstop while at Papaw and Nana's house but I spent most of the time wanting Mommy to hold me. I didn't even want to let Mommy eat the breakfast Papaw made for her. I will have to go back when I feel better.
